Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers need to register on the league website. This is a multi-step process, so please read carefully. For fastest processing, please have digital copies of your 2 state clearances a drivers' license. If you volunteered last year, we should have your state level clearances on file, but if we ask you to provide them, please do so as we are trying to process over a hundred volunteers each year.

1) Create OR login to your league account

2) (ANNUALLY) Sign up for desired role(s) in the league

3) Upload the following during your registration:
a) Driver's License
b) (Completed every 5 years from date issued) PA State Criminal Background Check (https://epatch.pa.gov/home)
c) (Completed every 5 years from date issued) PA State Child Abuse Clearance (https://www.compass.dhs.pa.gov/cwis)
d) Upload certificate from Part 4) below if possible.

4) (ANNUALLY) Complete the Abuse Awareness Course on the Little League Training Portal (log in to your account, or create an account) - https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/abuse-awareness-training-course/
***EMAIL ABUSE AWARENESS CERTIFICATE to [email protected]

5) (ANNUALLY) BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR AN EMAIL FROM JD Palatine (JDP). You will need to fill out a brief questionnaire that includes your SSN (this is to keep your information secure...league representatives will not be able to see your SSN this way). After completing this, you will not need to anything else.
